installation of six flags (varied sizes) on a lot in southeast portland, oregon







all flags hand-painted with acrylic, letters cut out and secured in place with repurposed polypropylene sheets as backing.
largest flags ("WIGWAM" and "INDIAN CITY") are 60 inches tall and 110-120 inches wide on linen and are installed on 130 inch tall steel poles.
medium flags ("BIG MISTAKE"/"MANY MAKE") are 42 inches tall and 70 inches wide on linen.
small flags ("VACANCY" and "ALL ALL AMERICAN") are 32-35 inches tall and 49-55 inches wide on duck weight canvas.
both medium and small flags are installed on 108 inch tall rebar.
